Must THINK SAFETY at all times!
Utilize proper etiquette at all times – take turns if needed!
No persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs allowed.
Valid pictured identification is required to utilize range.
Persons under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Everyone must wear eye and hearing protection while in range shooting areas.
While in range shooting areas: No Smoking, No eating, No drinking
No holstered weapons or quick draw shooting allowed.
Load and unload weapons inside of the shooting booth only. This is very important.
Clean up spent casings.
NEVER point a firearm at anyone! Always have your firearms pointed in a safe direction. Treat every firearm as if it were loaded!
Never pass your firearms to another person until the cylinder or action is open and you have visually checked to make sure it is unloaded.
Never bring a loaded weapon out of the range.
No pregnant women allowed in the range. Research shows noise may damage the fetus.
Person(s) may be banned from using range if using firearms in unsafe manner.
Cease Fire: On this command, unload gun, lay gun down, and step back from the shooting line.
Only Tyler Area Shooting Range Members are allowed in the rifle range complex die to liability issues.
Any person with a medical disorder which may cause a safety hazard to others, (E.G. Epilepsy) must notify range managers prior to entering shooting booth.
